PRINTING ON THE RISOGRAPH
WHAT IS THE RISOGRAPH?
Think about the risograph as a combination of screen printing and photo copying. Prints are created by printing one layer of ink at a time on specifically uncoated paper stock - using a subtractive color mixing process to recreate full-color photos and illustrations. The process results in each print having its own unique feel!
WHAT CAN I PRINT ON THE RISOGRAPH?
All sorts of things! Illustrations, invitations, zines -- the limit is your imagination (and the printable area of the paper you're working on).
HOW DO I SET UP MY FILE FOR THE RISOGRAPH?
Please make sure your files are at print resolution (300 dpi). One image per color, saved in grayscale, as a .PDF. Optional: convert your images to Bitmap/Halftone.

An 8.5x11" Cover Weight print with 3 colors/layers at a quantity of 150 prints:
$3*3 (masters) = $9
$0.20*150 (paper) = $30
3 layers * 150 prints = 450 Impressions
$0.10 (impressions) * 150 (prints) = $15
