BOARD GAMES AND ZINES NIGHT (BYOB)

For the board game lovers and the zine lovers comes an evening at PAPYRJAM that marries the two: board game and zine night! (Yes, it is a very creative title for an event). We'll be putting out some board games of our own (Wavelength, Monikers, Sushi Go, Love Letter, and more!) and encourage folks to bring their own (along with some friends!) for an evening of some light board games. Are you someone who isn't inclined to Catan? (Don't worry - we're not bringing that one anyways--) We'll also have an area for making zines! Have a strong opinion about the state of board games? Want to make up the rules to a game of your own? Write a zine about it, trade with others - or simply collage, doodle, draw, and have fun!

• It's BYOB! Bring something to drink - alcoholic or not! (We will be providing water - y'all gotta stay hydrated!) (Goes without saying, but we'll say it anyways: this event is 18+!)

• You can bring a board game, but we recommend keeping it light - we don't want to risk losing 1 out of 10,000 important game pieces! Bringing a board game is not required. Card games are also welcome!

• "Zine" is short for "magazine"; zines are much shorter, much smaller, and have historically been produced using cheap and fast methods. They can be about anything - a story, poetry, a list of things, explaining a set of rules to a game, a collection you own - the possibilities are endless!
