About the event

Based off the positive reception of the Eye Spy poster we put together for our free demonstration on the risograph - we now have a workshop to help teach you how to make your own poster of trinkets! This time, round 2!

How does this work? What a wonderful question to ask!

You'll bring in:

  • Your trinkets - make sure they're not too large - we'll be using a scanner and phone cameras to take pictures of our objects; so maybe leave the Lego Bonsai at home!

  • Strongly recommend, but not required: laptop OR iPad (with software like Procreate or Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint)

From there, we'll guide you on how to use our in-house scanner, in addition to how to take high-contrast photos that we can use for items that are too large/bulky to scan well. After you've arranged your composition, we'll help you get it printed on the risograph printer - and you'll be able to take home 10 11"x17" inch (poster sized) prints of what you've created -- in full color! We'll be using the Aqua, Fluorescent Pink, and Yellow ink drums for this workshop.

You can take home all of your extras, or you can trade with others in the workshop! These make fantastic decorations, or even presents - and they're personalized to YOU and all of the wonderful things you've collected over the years.

(Please note: this workshop is 18+).
